PROPHETIC WORDS FOR 2016

AMERICA
I saw America’s condition emerge out of the Book of 1 Samuel in that we were like the Israelites of those days. Samuel described their condition and situation like this: “They were in a strait, (for the people were hard-pressed), and the people hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in cliffs, in cellars, and in pits.” The people who weren’t hiding and were trying to do something about their situation were described as “trembling.” (See 1 Samuel 13:5-7)
Jonathan, the son of King Saul, finally got tired of the people’s complacency and boldly said to his armor bearer, “The LORD is not restrained to save by many or by few.” To which his armor bearer responded, “Do all that is in your heart.” The story goes on to describe these two young men valiantly going after the entire enemy army and defeating them. Four things took place in this battle that are profoundly prophetic for America right now:
1. The enemy suddenly became confused and turned against one another.
2. The armies of Israel gained confidence and finally joined Jonathan and his armor bearer in the fray.
3. The Hebrews who were hiding came out of their caves and joined the fight.
4. The Hebrews who had defected to the enemy’s camp (who became traitors to protect themselves) repented and joined Jonathan in the pursuit of the enemy.
I saw the Lord stirring up the spirit of Jonathan in America to “trump” the demonic mindsets of the forces of evil in our land. This “awakened” people all over America. This stirring penetrated so deeply into the heart of our nation that it affected every political persuasion, ethnic group, gender, and social class. There was such a sudden shift in mindsets that decades of deception began to fall off of the minds of people. Like a great earthquake that alters the topography, there was a spiritual earthquake that uncovered the righteous foundations of our nation. This became the catalyst to the beginning of a new era of discovery.
The courage of the silent righteous class in America is being awakened to take a stand for their convictions and to brave the spirit of intimidation. Like the scene in the movie Braveheart where William Wallace rode back and forth in front of the fragile and outnumbered Scottish militia inspiring them to fight for their families, the Holy Spirit is stirring the hearts of Americans to once more be “The home of the BRAVE and the land of the FREE.”
The Hebrew name Jonathan means “God gives.” This is the epoch season of God giving courage and prosperity to us. Prosperity is always the fruit of righteous courage and bold confidence. (See Joshua Chapter 1.) Then I heard, “This is the year of acceleration. Anticipate the promises being ‘yes’ and ‘amen’. Call them forth…call things that are not as though they were. Prepare for the promises! Prepare for the promises! Prepare for the promises!”
RUSSIA
I saw a great reformation flowing through the entire country of Russia. It began in Red Square and flooded the nation with a spiritual awakening that is unprecedented in modern history. Every city was filled with joy and prosperity. Creativity was released in the land inspiring medical breakthroughs, inventions and innovations. This resulted in an historic economic boom as Russia began exporting their medical cures, automobiles (I saw two new brands of automobiles emerge with excellence out of Russia), and inventions to the nations of the world.
I saw great collaboration happening between government, commerce and business. Many corporations moved to the land to be celebrated and empowered. There were great incentives given by the government to those that created wealth. They were lessons taken right out of the parables of the Talents and the Minas that Jesus told.
The righteous reigned in the land and a Jesus movement that will touch the entire world will be birthed in the universities, beginning in Moscow.
ISRAEL AND RUSSIA
I saw Russia become another big brother to Israel and make a tridimensional covenant with her. The covenant included: 1) Protection; 2) Commerce; and 3) Technical Collaboration (shared innovation). Russia completed “A cord of three strands which is not quickly torn apart.” (See Ecclesiastes 4:12) This partnership released a new era of forgiveness, security, and prosperity in both countries.
Have you ever found yourself in the midst of life's chaos, desperately needing a break, clarity, and a spiritual reset? Picture it like halftime – that pivotal moment when the coach steps in, recalibrates the team, and sparks a turnaround. The game isn't over; this is a chance to come back stronger and claim victory! In recent weeks, a resounding message has been echoing in my heart and mind: January is the Church's halftime! Our divine Coach is calling us to the huddle, to draw close, and let Him fine-tune our game plan – our values, thoughts, and behaviors. Amid the noise, He's inviting us to step away, knowing that leaning into these divine moments will catapult us into the second half, ready for victory. And in this game, we already know the final score – He wins!
Gen Z, labeled as the seemingly lost generation to Christianity, and Gen Alpha, the digital natives immersed in screens, stand at the crossroads of an era defined by the rapid evolution of technology. As they navigate the evolving landscape of identity, both personal and global, a crucial question reverberates: "Has the Church lost this next generation?"
Have you ever grappled with the intersection of an unwavering belief in a supernatural God who releases healing from heaven and the pragmatic world of science and medicine? Perhaps you've found yourself standing at the crossroads, fervently praying for a miracle yet receiving healing through the hands of a compassionate doctor. It's a tension many face—the delicate dance of faith in God's miraculous power juxtaposed with the gift of modern medicine. What if there is no tension at all and there is actually a beautiful integration of faith and science?
