THIS WOMAN TURNED A DEATH THREAT INTO A SALVATION STORY (AND HOW YOU CAN TOO)

Do you consider yourself a courageous person? Are you a dream-chaser, risk-taker and fear-silencer? Maybe you read those words and think those qualities are not for you, or that it’s not your personality type to be brave. I used to think that courage looks like soldiers, public servants and superheroes. Although those people walk in outrageous amounts of courage, one thing I know for sure is that courage isn’t contained to a profession or natural gifting.

Courage comes from knowing that the God of the universe is for us and in us! Whether you’re a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, a photographer or a businessman, you are one of God’s champions! And as his winners, we weren’t called to sit around polishing our armor. We have been left behind to transform the world!

COURAGE INSPIRES YOU IN ADVERSITY

Today I want to encourage you with a thought for the week—what would your week look like if you faced every circumstance that comes your way with outrageous courage? Check out this video to hear an inspiring testimony about bravery:
Some believers are convinced that life in the Kingdom is like tiptoeing through the tulips. They think they will win the nations through some pool party or beauty pageant. Just as we can learn from Carolyn, women and men of radical faith and outrageous courage are forged in the fire of circumstances! Don’t shrink back when things get hard; instead, press in and increase your intensity. When you see the naive stumbling through darkness, rise with wisdom to rescue helpless souls. What could happen if normal people, yourself included, got filled with God’s Spirit and became vessels for His power and courage? The world around us couldn’t help but be impacted.

So today I want to encourage you with this verse—Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

As you face this week I want you to hold onto this verse and breathe in the courage of heaven, let it soak into your spirit and let it rise within your heart! I bless you with a Braveheart blessing to face fear with faith this week! I’d love to hear how you’re going to be intentionally brave this week in the comments!

Have you ever found yourself in the midst of life's chaos, desperately needing a break, clarity, and a spiritual reset? Picture it like halftime – that pivotal moment when the coach steps in, recalibrates the team, and sparks a turnaround. The game isn't over; this is a chance to come back stronger and claim victory! In recent weeks, a resounding message has been echoing in my heart and mind: January is the Church's halftime! Our divine Coach is calling us to the huddle, to draw close, and let Him fine-tune our game plan – our values, thoughts, and behaviors. Amid the noise, He's inviting us to step away, knowing that leaning into these divine moments will catapult us into the second half, ready for victory. And in this game, we already know the final score – He wins!

Gen Z, labeled as the seemingly lost generation to Christianity, and Gen Alpha, the digital natives immersed in screens, stand at the crossroads of an era defined by the rapid evolution of technology. As they navigate the evolving landscape of identity, both personal and global, a crucial question reverberates: "Has the Church lost this next generation?"

Have you ever grappled with the intersection of an unwavering belief in a supernatural God who releases healing from heaven and the pragmatic world of science and medicine? Perhaps you've found yourself standing at the crossroads, fervently praying for a miracle yet receiving healing through the hands of a compassionate doctor. It's a tension many face—the delicate dance of faith in God's miraculous power juxtaposed with the gift of modern medicine. What if there is no tension at all and there is actually a beautiful integration of faith and science?
